Work Experiences / Projects

Panhellenic President

I recently completed my term as the 2019 Panhellenic President at Texas Christian University.

In this role, I helped manage and oversee the operations of the largest student organization at the school. Serving over one-third of the student body.

I met regularly with University administration, the National Panhellenic Conference, chapter presidents, advisors, and the other greek councils on my campus.

I oversaw a six-figure budget and use of association credit card.

Learned the beauty and frustrations of working on a year-long team. Enhanced my relationship-building and interpersonal communication skills.

SGLA - Student Planning Comittie

I currently serve on the 2019 Southeastern Greek Leadership Association, student conference planning committee.

In this role, I have had the opportunity to meet with industry-leading professionals, dedicated peers in the Greek life community, and professional speakers across the country.

Adding student input to the first-ever Southeastern Greek Leadership Association conference.

I am excited to attend and work at the conference this upcoming February.

TCU Campus Rec - Member Services

I have worked for the TCU Campus Recreation and Wellness Promotion Center for the last two years now.

In my member services role, I assist in carrying out the best customer service possible to patrons of the rec.

Managing equipment check in/out, monitoring laundry, answering the phone, and assisting members with finding the answer to any questions that arise.

Utah Athletics - Social Media Intern

During the fall semester of my sophomore year at the University of Utah, I worked as a Social Media Intern for the Athletic Department.

Capturing images and videos, posting and helping to run high profile social media accounts, for the University of Utah Athletics departments. Including football, women's soccer, and volleyball.

TCU Athletics - Game Day Operations

I have worked game-day operations for the past two years at Texas Christian University through the athletics department. Primarily working with indoor and beach volleyball in alternating seasons.

In this role, I have assisted in equipment moving, set up, takedown, and storage. Managing and operating scoreboards for division 1 athletics events. Occasionally I served as an on-site ball manager and keeper or court sweeper.

University of Utah - Orientation Leader

I worked as an Orientation Leader at the University of Utah during the summer of 2017.

University in the utmost fashion, welcoming new students, and preparing them for success at the University of Utah.  I walked away from this experience with an incredible amount of personal growth and knowledge as well as a new passion for a future career.

Gordy's - Fontana,WI

Along with being the #1 boat dealer in North America, Gordy's Marina in Fontana WI is a restaurant, ski school, boat service, pro-shop, and much more. I am blessed to be able to have such a lively and wonderful summer job, that has also taught me many life skills.

I am a sales associate for the Pro-shop. My main responsibilities are to provide excellent customer service, keep the shop neat and tidy, and work the cash register.

In addition to my main responsibilities, I was selected to coordinate, plan, set up, and run multiple tent sales throughout the summer. While doing this I used marketing techniques taught to me in class, to come up with many different marketing and advertising strategies.

Senior Project

As a senior I completed a senior project in my community. I decided to do something I was possibly intrested in doing in the future, and something I loved to do. I choose to coach a youth dance team, to compete throughout the spring of 2016.

Throughout this project I learned so much. I took a group of eight, 8-10 year olds from placing bottom of the bunch to the second highest scoring routine of their age group, all in less than two weeks.

I saw how hard and competitve it was to be a teacher and choreographer and how much time, energy and passion one must commit to make results happen. I learned to play to the groups' strenghts, while still challenging them and making them work hard.

I am so glad to have this experience, and to be able to learn and grow so much from it. My little team has qualified to compete at nationals this summer, and I couldn't be prouder.

Badger DECA Discount Card

In my Honors Advanced Marketing class, myself and nine other classmates worked very hard for almost an entire semester communicating, planning and executing a discount card valid in our community. We worked with local businesses and came up with a card to honor the discounts we discussed, for an entire year. Once the cards were printed, we chose to sell them for price of $15 as a DECA chapter fundraiser. The class voted, and picked the sign I made, to use as our advertising poster.

Getting this kind of real world experience, as part of my classroom learning is incredible. Working directly with businesses in my community, as a high schooler was and amazing experience. I learned so much from this project, and hope to do more things like this in my future.
